Welcome to 'Simon Says'

 

 

 

We have put some of these questions forward to one of our experts – Simon Barnicoat. 

 

Simon has worked for the company for over twenty years and, if you have a question, there is no-one better to give you a response. 

 

In this new section of our website Simon will be responding on a regular basis to questions we often receive that range from the every day helpful for business, for those inquisitive about the working of industrail doors to the plain old 'I never new that!' 

 

 

Simon Barnicoat is our Customer Liaison Manager and is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, marketing our products and sourcing new business. 

 

Simon has been with Stanair since 2000. He originally joined Accounts but soon discovered his real passion was working with people rather than numbers. He moved into managing the Rugby depot before finally focussing on sales. The rest is history! 

 

Simon has always enjoyed being involved in local community initiatives with Stanair. He has attended (and presented) awards at many Business and Sports awards. He has even, on occasion, been known to dress up as Steeler – the NCCC mascot. Anything to bring a smile to people’s faces. 

 

In his spare time, Simon enjoys embarking on DIY projects and tinkering in the garage. When not playing with wall plugs and fuse boxes, he can be found walking in the country, cooking and making his children groan by telling dad jokes. 

 

Simon is obsessed with the company motto ‘Quality on Call’ and tries to embody this promise every day to customers, suppliers and colleagues alike.
