Starting in 1974 Stanair has over 45 years’ experience servicing and repairing industrial doors throughout the region. Working out of Kettering in the early years we now have four branches covering most of the Midlands and Home Counties.
Our Stanair Kettering depot provides industrial door installation, repair and servicing to Kettering, Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas. We offer a 24-hour emergency industrial door repair service to both new and existing customers, 365 days a year.
Stanair works to ISO 9001 standards, is backed by the Door and Hardware Federation (DHF) and the Automatic Door Suppliers' Association (ADSA); and is SAFE contractor approved.
The Stanair Kettering Team
Jane is the Branch Manager in Kettering and is responsible for managing the service team as well as the engineers.
Always ready with a laugh and a smile, Jane is motivated by her desire to help others – be that customers or members of the Stanair team.
Tackling a new challenge, that of managing a group of young engineers, was part of the reason why Jane joined the Stanair team six years ago. Managing the team is perhaps one of Jane’s favourite tasks. She loves watching them grow and develop and says, ‘I always do my best to help them enjoy and succeed at their job.’
When she is not fielding enquiries in the office, Jane enjoys singing, drama and baking. She dreams of travelling in her motorhome and exploring the great outdoors.
Mandy works as a Service Administrator in Kettering HQ. Her everyday duties involve liaising between the customers and the engineers, logging calls and tracking the status of installations, repairs and servicing.
After working for many years as a service administration manager, Mandy joined the Stanair team in March 2019. She thoroughly enjoys the job, the people she works with and assisting customers. Her calm and measured approach is best reflected in her motto of: ‘Go with the flow because you can’t stop the tide.’
When not in the office, Mandy enjoys spending time with her pets and aims to soon visit her relatives in Australia.
Cheryl is an Office Administrator in the Kettering office. As part of her role, she answers the telephones, answers queries and books in the emergencies, installations, repair or installation requests. She also helps with the invoicing and ensuring that all jobs run smoothly.
Cheryl joined the Stanair team in July 2021. She loves the fact that, although she is at work, it also feels as if she is amongst friends due to the company’s supportive and welcoming ethos.
When she is not in work, Cheryl can be found cycling, frequenting the gym and even indulging in some Thai boxing.
She believes that you ‘should take every day as it comes’ and dreams of touring America in the future.
Jack is Kettering’s surveyor and his responsibilities involve going on site, assessing the needs of the customer and advising them on the best way forward for their needs. He also measures up the job, orders the necessary equipment and, most importantly, keeps the customer informed on the progress of their job.
Since joining the company as a trainee engineer in 2015, Jack soon became a senior engineer before being promoted to Kettering Surveyor just last year. Jack really enjoys his job and loves being able to solve a customer’s problems. The customer is central to Jack and he aims to serve every customer to the best of his ability and, ultimately, for them to use Stanair again and again.
