Stanair supporting Rugby Borough FC Academy of Football

As part of our support of community and grass roots sport Stanair is delighted to partner with the Rugby Borough FC ‘Academy of Football’ 

 

We currently sponsor both the under 18 youth team squads and National League under 19 squad shorts and shirts sleeve and match day bibs. 

 

 

The Academy is a football education programme that provides those with sporting aspirations to pursue a career in the sports industry when they leave school. 

 

At the core of the Academy programmes is the desire to harness the next generation of semi‐professional and professional athletes. The Academy strongly believe in motivating young people to reach their full potential and preparing them for life as a professional sportsperson. 

 

It is a well‐known cliché that practice makes perfect but every dedicated athlete knows only too well, just how true it is. 

 

The training replicates the environment that the youngsters are likely to encounter after leaving the programme. Each week they train with highly qualified professional coaches, under the direction of a head coach. 

 

The programmes act as a foundation for those involved to further their career plans. 

 

Many of the Academy former students go on to find professional work whilst others choose to apply for apprenticeships or higher education. With this programme on their CV, nothing is impossible. 

 

It may sound daunting or far from reality at the beginning but at the end of their qualification the Academy will have readily prepared the youngsters for the world of work or further education. Whether it’s advice on their career path, applying for apprenticeships or starting their own business, the Academy can help. 

 

The Academy offers: 

 

- A bespoke programme of full-time education suited to each learners needs, ability and desired career path they wish to take. 

 

- A fantastic football programme with a difference and with an extensive training and games programme based on a state of the art training facility with elite level coaching and progressive games programme. 

 

- Full-time education from Level 1 to Level 3 in a variety of football/sport/coaching related qualifications. 

 

- Part-Time courses and Traineeships. 

 

- Teams in the Under 19 National Alliance the Midweek Floodlit League and the Junior Premier League 

 

- Referee Courses 

 

- Level 1 and Level 2 courses 

 

- Whilst football is part of the main programme they prepare learners who are looking for other opportunities in the Sports industry.
