Servicing by Stanair

Regular servicing can minimise downtime, disruption and untimely call outs. Ask us how....
At Stanair, we know that prevention is better than the cure. If your door or equipment is showing signs of weakness, then it is better to organise that repair around your own schedule than have the equipment suddenly and unexpectedly fail. Not only could this have serious Health and Safety ramifications, it can potentially shut down operation and incur unnecessary emergency call out charges.
Remember: not every fault is obvious. It takes a trained professional to fully evaluate all the many components and to be able to certify the product as meeting the highest of standards.

Industrial Door & Physical Security Products Servicing: FAQ

How often do I need to service my door or product?
It is entirely dependent on how much you use it. If you only use the equipment infrequently, then an annual service will usually suffice.
However, if you use the equipment more often (daily), then we would always advise a six month service. Using Stanair's competent and trained personnel will ensure that any issues are spotted early and resolved before they have the chance to grow into a much bigger problem.
What kinds of products do you service?

We service and maintain a wide range of products and equipment.
This includes:
high speed doors,up and over doors,
roller doors, cold room doors, clean room doors, sliding folding shutters, fire exit doors, gates and barriers, servery grilles, shopfront shutters, window security products, traffic control products, loading bay systems and more.
Why Choose Stanair To service Your Industrial Access Equipment?
Our engineers are highly trained professionals who are able to inspect and evaluate all the working components of the equipment they are servicing. Their long experience means that they can often identify potential problems before they even become an issue.
Not only that, but we keep track of all the certificates, service logs records and even send out reminders when your next service is due.
Your peace of mind is important to us.
Do you service Fire Resistant Products?

We do. We mainly focus on Fire Roller Shutters and making sure that they function correctly and are able to protect you in the case of a fire.

Our service includes checking for any visible damage, making sure the inner components of the door are free from rust or damage and conducting a drop test. This basically means that we check that the door will close when the fire alarm sounds. When all our checks are completed, we will be able to certify your door or shutter as safety tested and confirming that it is fit to protect you and your business should the worst happen.

What is involved in a service?

All of our services are an extensive evaluation of your equipment and will usually take 30 to 40 minutes depending on the type of equipment that is being serviced.

Our engineers have an extensive checklist to follow and, once all aspects have been signed off, your engineer will issue each piece of equipment with a service report and passing certification.

If any further work is required or advised, your engineer will notify you and issue a no obligation quote for the repair (if we cannot fix it on site).
