The Nergeco C-Freezer 5 Cold Chain Door is a high-performance door for use between chilled and deep-freeze environments, offering a multi-composite frame made specifically for freezer applications.
The multi-composite frame has a low temperature conductivity and has been specifically constructed to create a natural thermal barrier. Unlike the C-Freezer 2 door, the C-Freezer is installed inside the freezer area only.
The C-Freezer 5 doors use a flexible triple-layer curtain with integrated air mattresses to minimise temperature loss. The sides of the curtain also have additional sealing lips for improved peripheral closing in vertical side guides, meaning no additional sliding door is required for overnight closing.
The high-speed door’s direct drive motor is equipped with deep freeze grade lubrication and a de-icing system to operate in freezer environments. In terms of operation, the motor provides long-lasting performance and durability, whilst the just-in-time opening cycle reduces energy loss and energy consumption by up to 32%. The Trekking Fold-Up technology also guarantees correct bar to bar curtain folding to ensure a smooth operation and longer lifespan of each C-Freezer 5 door.
