The Nergeco C-Chill 5 Cold Chain Door is a high performance fold-up door for controlled chilled areas, offering a double layer curtain for better insulation. The multi composite frame is specifically suited for cold chain applications, with the composite material offering low temperature conductivity and the frame creating a natural thermal barrier.
The C-Chill 5 door curtain has a flexible double layer curtain with integrated air mattress to reduce temperature loss in chilled environments. The curtain can also be equipped with windows, offering a transparent material to allow people to see oncoming traffic. The curtain is also made of food grade material, adapted to the food industry, to minimise contamination risks.
In terms of operation, the door’s direct drive motor provides long-lasting performance and durability, whilst the just-in-time opening cycle reduces energy loss and energy consumption by up to 32%.
