Stanair Supports England Beach Footballer Nicole Evans

Ever heard of beach football? It’s fast, skillful, and played on sand—which makes it as challenging as it is exciting. If you’ve ever tried running on sand for more than five seconds, you’ll know how tough that is—now imagine sprinting, dribbling, and scoring goals while doing it! While hugely popular in countries like Brazil and Spain, the sport is still growing in the UK. But with the hopes of a FIFA world cup for the women in the future, it is definitely on the rise. 

 

One of the players helping to put England on the beach football map is Nicole Evans. Hailing from Rugby (not exactly known for its sandy beaches), Nicole plays for the England National Team, taking on international competition. In 2024, she travelled to Spain, Portugal, El Salvador and Saudi Arabia to compete against the world’s best. But here’s the catch—England’s beach football teams aren’t yet supported by The FA, meaning players rely heavily on sponsorship money to help with expenses.
