At Stanair, not only do we love to provide the best service to our customers, we enjoy supporting them in their activities too.
One of Stanair’s valued customers, Roger Hunt of ATS Properties, recently took part in The Italian Job. The event, named after the famous Michael Caine film, is an annual tour in which the affectionately known ‘Jobbers’ drive in a rally across Italy in aid of children’s charities. All Jobbers drive Minis or any of the classic cars from the original film and get to visit some stunning hidden gems across Italy across the course of the trip.
Roger, a customer of Stanair for 20 years, took a team over to compete in this year’s rally. Beginning their journey in Imola, part of the Emilia-Romagna district, the team travelled through cities including Bologna, Modena and Revenna. Enjoying all of the sites along the way, the 2,000 mile rally came to an end in northern Turin.
Whilst the rally, in it’s 29th year, is a lot of fun for Mini and Italian Job enthusiasts alike, there is a great cause behind the trip. Each year, every ‘Jobber’ is tasked with raising money for a great cause. This year, all funds raised went to children’s charity Buttle UK. Stanair were delighted to support Roger and his team with sponsorship.
“We love to support a whole host of great causes every year,” said Martin Wall, Director at Stanair, “to be able to support one of our customers with such a great initiative is brilliant, and we’re delighted to see so much money being raised for Buttle UK.”
