Stanair supports Abbz as she takes her racing to the next level
This Spring brings a brand new motorcycling season, and Stanair are delighted to be sponsoring Annabel ‘Abbz’ Thomas as always.

14 year old Abbz, from Burton Latimer Northamptonshire, is already making great strides in her motorcycling career, already in her second year in the KTM Superbikes support series. Last year, she competed in the Santander KTM British Junior Cup, with 10 top-ten finishes, claiming 11th place and the prestigious ‘Rookie of the Year’ award. This season sees Abbz competing in the British Superbike (BSB) Moto3 British Motostar Championship, an exciting step up in her career.

The start of the season hasn’t come without it’s challenges for Abbz. In her first race at Brands Hatch in April, she registered a Did Not Finish (DNF) in Race 1. This didn’t stop Abbz, however, from going on to achieve, with the challenge motivating her to finish in 10th place in Race 2 to claim 6 points and put herself in 13th place in the series standings.

“Abbz is a truly talented young lady and it’s been fantastic to watch her racing journey so far,” said Martin Wall, Director at Stanair, “we’re very proud to support her again this year and look forward to watching her compete in the season ahead.”
