Kettering based firm, Stanair Industrial Door Services Ltd, are delighted to continue as this year’s fuel sponsor for local motorcycle race team, Symcirrus Motorsport, who will be competing in the MCE British Superbikes series.
Now in its forty second year, the Northamptonshire firm has a long history of supporting local sports people and organisations in their endeavours and has a portfolio ranging from rugby to youth bands.
With a new ex GP Moto 3 KTM machine for this year, the team’s rider, Market Harborough 15 year old, Edmund Best, will be aiming high and hoping to be a serious contender for the 2016 British Motostar Championship, a support class in the series.
“Running a team at this level is always a big challenge” explained Desborough based team owner Steve Holbrough. “To have Stanair on board is a big plus for us, especially as they are a local Northants firm”.
The former six times off-road British champion has already made his mark with a succession of top ten places in last year’s championship and is poised to be a front runner from the outset in the first round at Northamptonshire’s Silverstone Circuit in April.
The series regularly draws crowds in excess of 70,000 people and is televised live on Eurosport with highlights on ITV4. It therefore provides an excellent shop window for the Kettering based industrial door specialists and a positive way in which to raise their profile and really put the Stanair brand on the map.
“This will be our second season of involvement with Symcirrus Motorsport, and with the new bike, we are looking forward to seeing how Edmond and the team competes.” Said Stanair director Martin Wall.
With an area of operation covering East Midlands and East Anglia, Stanair are the leaders in industrial door services with competitive maintenance and service contracts coupled with a 24 hour call out service from their fleet of vans and fully trained engineers.
Already a familiar sight on the county’s roads, keep an eye out this year for the distinctive Stanair logo on a racetrack near you.
