A speedy success at Silverstone for Team BRIT
Stanair are proud to support various projects and teams across the communities we serve, with one of them being Team BRIT.

Team BRIT are a competitive motor racing team made up of drivers who are currently serving or ex-military troops. All drivers have sustained serious injuries, are disabled and race competitively and regularly across the country.

Team BRIT are currently competing in the Fun Cup Championship, a number of endurance races that range anywhere between 4 and 8 hours long. The races run across the whole of the summer and into the autumn with the final race of the series taking place in October at Oulton Park in Cheshire.

We were delighted to receive photographs from the team following their first race in April 2017, which was held at the world renowned Silverstone in Northamptonshire. The race looked incredibly exciting and the team pulled out all the stops, achieving a very respectable 2 car finish after the 4 hour race – a great start to the series.

“Team BRIT are such a fantastic team to support.” says Martin Wall, Director at Stanair. “All of the guys who race are a real inspiration and it’s great to see them work hard to get such good results at the beginning of the Fun Cup series. We’re delighted to be supporting them as they speed through this season.”

For more information about this race, you can find the full report on the Team BRIT website.
