Team Symcirrus with their trophy

Stanair supported Team Symcirrus had an eventful end to the season in October. The motorcycling team is made up of Edmund Best and brothers Elliot and Oscar Pinson, who compete in regular races over the year and is managed by Steve Holborough.

Edmund, 18, competed in the British Motostar Championship this season. The young rider had a difficult 2018 season, having an accident on track which resulted in broken vertebrae in his back. This season, however, he returned fighting fit and finished 6th overall in the championship. As part of his successful season, a particular highlight was a 3rd place finish at Oulton Park.

2019 was Oscar’s first season with Team Symcirrus. At 14, he is the youngest rider, and has had some fantastic achievements over the year racing in the British Junior Supersport Championship. The season saw him progress from the back of the grid to now scoring 3 top 15 finishes in the last four races, leaving him 30th in the championship.

Elliot was also competing in the British Junior Supersport Championship alongside brother Oscar. Competing in his second season as part of Team Symcirrus, the 16 year old amassed 9 race wins and went on take the top spot, winning the whole championship.

“We’ve been very proud to support Steve and the team for many years now,” said Martin Wall, Director at Stanair, “the whole team have done tremendously well this season and we’d like to congratulate them all on a brilliant season.”

We hope the whole team are enjoying a well deserved rest ahead of pre-season training and what we’re sure will be an exciting 2020!
