Northamptonshire is a county full of thriving and successful businesses, all of which deserve to be celebrated.
Held at the Daventry Court Hotel the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards 2016 provided just this opportunity recognising the successful and hardworking businesses across the county in a glittering ceremony.
Over 300 guests attended awards all of who were treated to a wealth of entertainment, beginning with musical theatre students from Northampton College performing musical numbers from ‘Les Miserables.’ Following the delicious three-course dinner, guests were surprised and delighted a trio of opera singers disguised as members of staff and dinner guests.
The awards, hosted by Vick Hope, covered all aspects of business, from innovation to customer service, with each category receiving a multitude of nominations. Stanair were delighted to be the headline sponsor for the evening and also put their name to the ‘Training and Development’ Award, presented by Stanair MD David Wood and won by Seckingtons of Northampton.

The final award of the night was the Overall Winner award, presented by John Socha of the Federation of Small Businesses and David Wood of Stanair, which went to Seckingtons.
“All of the finalists should be extremely proud of themselves to make it to this stage.” said Martin. “The level of entries were phenomenal and the finalists really are the cream of the crop.”
