Our work with customers covers all aspects of door security, including servicing, installation and maintenance. There are plenty of circumstances in which a door simply just needs to be updated or replaced due to age or wear and tear, but unfortunately we do also help customers who have been affected negatively due to events such as break in’s. 

The Replace Base are a Northamptonshire based business who specialise in repairing electronic devices such as phones, tablets and tools. The company was founded by Steve Garner in 2009, who found a gap in the market for providing replacement parts for devices based on his own personal experiences repairing devices for friends and family. Now, ten years later, Replace Base operates out of a large warehouse, boasting a team of 16 staff and recently opened the first of many ‘RepairBase’ local repair shops.

Unfortunately, the warehouse was recently targeted by criminals who broke in by using a vehicle to ram raid the warehouse’s main shutter in the early hours of the morning. Thanks to the security measures already in place on site, Steve was quickly alerted to the break in. After seeing the damage to the door, Steve knew he needed a new door to secure the entrance once again. After putting a call in to Stanair at 4am, we responded and our engineers were on site within the hour to assess the damage relay the information back to the office. By the afternoon on the same day, Steve’s site had a brand new, roller shutter curtain installed, giving him confidence that his premises were once again secure.

“The three engineers and call handler I dealt with were very sympathetic to my situation and although I felt they went above and beyond for me, I genuinely believe this is just the standard level of service for these guys,” said Steve, “in less than twelve hours these guys had done the entire job, which came in cheaper than I expected and I had great communication throughout.”

We’re so glad we could help Steve and his team get secured so quickly and carry on with business as usual, and we’re delighted to leave the premises secure again.
