Wicksteed Park’s famous Edwardian Pavilion has re-launched its team-building, conference, away day and corporate events offering after being restored to its former glory.

The major refurbishment, which includes restoration of the original Edwardian features, can cater for up to 1,000 delegates, whilst also providing meeting rooms and facilities for smaller events.

When it came to selecting someone to provide shutters over the new bars in the recent refurbishment, Stanair were delighted to be asked to provide the best security for the new and improved pavilion.

Jenni Smart from Wicksteed Park, made it clear why Wicksteed chose Stanair to provide the services, saying, “We chose Stanair because we have used them regularly in the past and have always been very happy with their standard of work.”

The efficient shutters, include systems which are designed to operate quickly and easily, whether it is manually or at the touch of a button. The system is designed to be very compact, with the tight coiling of the shutters meaning the housings are small and don’t require large headroom’s for the shutter box.

Wicksteed Park, which has an easy access to the M1 and A1 whilst also being less than an hour’s drive from Birmingham Airport, is situated in a luscious 147 acres of beautiful countryside, offering an array of different opportunities for both team building exercises and unwinding.

Jenni commended Stanair for its high standard of service, describing our engineers as, “really helpful” and doing a, “fantastic job”.

“It is great news for us at Stanair to play a part in the refurbishment of the beautiful Edwardian Pavilion at Wicksteed Park,” Martin Wall from Stanair said. “To provide our services at such a historic park that sees hundreds of thousands of people enjoy it every year is a real privilege.”

“As a local company ourselves and with Stanair being local too, it is good to know that we can work well together on projects like this. We look forward to working with Stanair more in the future.” Jenni Smart said.
