Keeping it local with Beeks Building Contractors

Here at Stanair, we take great pride in installing, maintaining and servicing doors on customer sites across the Midlands. There are cases, however, in which we also work with contractors to help them fulfil their door requirements on projects, such as Beeks Building Contractors & Developers.

Beeks, first established in 1965, is a family run business and provides end-to-end new-build residential and commercial construction. The business specialises in the design and build of quality homes, offices, community buildings, club houses and commercial properties, predominantly across the Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire regions.

Beeks were working with a private client on a project in Slough as the main contractor on site. The team had all of the infrastructure in place, but were in need of fire doors to be installed on site. Tim Prior, Purchasing Manager from Beeks, got in touch with Stanair’s Milton Keynes Depot to enlist their services. Working with the construction team, Stanair Engineers installed two fire exit doors on the Gibbs & Dandy site to help complete the external building work.

Made of reinforced steel, Stanair’s personnel fire doors are extremely durable in all environments. The strong rigid construction is made up of reinforced hinged edges, welded thick steel reinforced channels to the bottom edges; as well as high tensile steel reinforced lock points. All of these components not only make for a durable door, but one that provides optimum security too.

“We were really pleased to have Stanair on board with us on this project,” said Tim, “it was really important for us to use a trusted and local supplier to work with us, and Stanair’s Engineers helped us to deliver a great end product on site."
