They called on us for help when the electric roller shutter for their warehouse broke down. When we arrived, we found that the door was in a bad way. We suggested that instead of repairing the door – which could be very costly - it would be more beneficial to replace the damaged door. Given the amount of use that the door saw, we recommended that they install an insulated, three-phase fast action roller shutter door. This was a sensible choice as the rapid opening and closing of the door, as well as its insulation, means that as little heat as possible escapes – thus saving on energy costs. At the same time, we upgraded the door’s electronic controls and installed a wireless safety edge system. This means that the door will not close when anything or anyone walks beneath it making it as safe as it is cost-effective.
