New barrier entry system satisfies company's need for high security
A new Stanair entry barrier system has allowed a company in Thrapston, Northamptonshire, to easily and reliably increase its levels of site security.
DSV Solutions operates a high security operation from its base, and strictly controls access to and from the site.
This means intensive security checks of all vehicles entering and leaving the site, carried out by a guard based in a gatehouse.
However, the firm’s old single barrier entry system made it difficult for the guard to control the flow of traffic while carrying out all adequate security checks during peak times.
Stanair has fitted a new dual barrier entry and exit system, which allows the guard better control of the two way traffic.
Engineers from the Kettering depot removed the old single barrier and carried out the complete installation of the new barrier, including burying cables across the roadway.
