Ignoring service contracts for industrial doors is a "false economy"

A Stanair depot manager is warning that not taking out a service contract on industrial doors is actually a false economy in the long-term.

Richard Grieve from the company’s Rugby depot, has recently sent engineers to fix doors at several local companies that broke down unexpectedly.

And in each case, the door hadn’t been serviced for several years.

“People forget that heavily-used industrial doors degrade over time and need to be serviced, just like any other piece of machinery,” Richard said.

“Saving a few hundred pounds a year by having a service contract is a false economy. Because when the door breaks down, your bill is likely to be bigger than the years of servicing you skipped.

“Plus, of course, a broken down door is more likely to interrupt operations costing productivity and time.”

Stanair services thousands of industrial doors every year, fixing problems before they arise and ensuring the doors are kept in excellent condition. Learn more and book a no obligation appointment to discuss your door servicing here.
