Stanair and Shire Security are looking for the Sportswoman of the Year
Stanair Industrial Door Services and sister company Shire Security are backing a search for the Leicestershire sportswoman of the year.
They’re sponsoring a category at the Harborough Sports Awards 2010, organised by the Harborough and Lutterworth Mail newspapers, on Tuesday 14th December 2010.
The three finalists are:
Nicki Brocklesby – clay target shooting. She won a gold medal this year at the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships.
Piggy French – horse eventing. She won silver medal at last year’s European Eventing Championships plus top 20 finish at this year’s World Equestrian Games.
Karen Brooks – athletics. Karen won Midlands Masters 1500m and 3000m, plus national women’s veterans inter-area 1500m title
