Stanair gets fire-hit Hinckley company back in business faster than its neighbour
A Hinckley company made an excellent choice in calling Stanair when its door was damaged during a fire – as it was back up and running faster than its neighbour.
Firemen were unable to get inside an industrial unit on fire last week because the heat was too intense.
Instead they cut holes in the doors of two neighbouring units to give them alternative access to the blaze.
After the fire was out, the businesses in both units called door companies to repair the damage to their doors.
One of the businesses called Stanair – and their door was fixed on the first engineering visit. Engineers fitted new panels making the door as good as new.
Sadly it wasn’t such a rapid, happy ending for the other business.
They called a different door company who couldn’t repair it on the first visit... so they left it boarded up, pending a return visit to do a proper fix.
