New scissor lift for Coke in Milton Keynes

Coca-Cola’s depot in Milton Keynes has had a new scissor lift fitted by Stanair’s engineers.

The lift makes it significantly easier for the company’s workers to move stock in and out of lorries.

It’s been fitted just a few weeks after engineers fitted a similar scissor lift at a building in Daventry, Northamptonshire.

Scissor lifts are specifically designed to be operated by one person, and to quickly and safely move heavy loads vertically.

They are typically used where space is at a premium so a ramp cannot be built, or if there is a need to move loads to varying heights.

The lift gets its name from the linked folding supports, which look like scissors in a criss-cross X pattern.
