Huge 6.7m wide door fitted for wind energy company in Rugby

Stanair engineers have installed an impressive 6.7m wide insulated door at a depot in Rugby.

It has been fitted for Converteam, an energy company that constructs giant wind turbines to create renewable energy.

The new door gives Converteam considerably more flexibility in how it runs its operations.

It can now load turbines onto vehicles inside the facility, before driving the vehicle out.

Converteam works in several markets around the world, including naval, oil and gas, wind and solar energy.
