New scissor lift makes industrial unit more accessible

A small industrial unit in Daventry has worked around space restrictions in the loading bay by having a new scissor lift installed.

The unit didn’t have the external space available to install a ramp.

So instead, engineers from Stanair’s Rugby depot installed the new lift, providing full access to the loading area.

“This makes the unit fully functional and much more attractive to a prospective tenant,” said the depot’s Richard Grieve.

“The scissor lift looks incredible and opens the unit up to heavier industrial uses. It is a very smart solution to the problem.

“The owners of the unit are now much more confident that they can secure a long-term tenant for the unit.”
