Businesses that need to invest in their facilities to kickstart post-recession growth may be eligible for an interest-free loan from the Carbon Trust.
Stanair’s rapid action industrial door products are thought to qualify for loans, as they reduce energy loss from busy premises – which ultimately reduces the amount of CO2 generated while heating the building. Environmental friendliness is deemed to be an important factor in whether or not development work qualifies for financial help.
Stanair’s sales and marketing director Martin Wall said: “We’re backing a new drive by the Carbon Trust to raise awareness of its interest-free loans.
“The Carbon Trust offers many businesses interest free loans from as little as £3,000 up to half a million pounds.
“Often, businesses with industrial premises need to secure funding to start growth. They can see the opportunity for growth post-recession, but they still need the money to make it happen.”
He added: “These interest-free loans are an ideal way to upgrade facilities and improve production.
“Plus installing energy efficient products such as rapid action doors reduces your heating bill and therefore the impact of your business on the environment. This produces a benefit for everyone.”
