Businesses warned to beware of ram raiders this autumn
Stanair is warning its clients to beware of ram raiders this autumn – with a prediction that the number of ram raids will increase in October and November.
Managers at Stanair’s Milton Keynes depot have analysed records from the last few years and noticed a trend for more call outs to deal with ram raids in October and November.
Now they are putting staff on standby to deal with an increased number of call outs.
Ram raiders can cause significant damage to industrial doors when they drive vehicles into them to gain access to a building.
The doors are typically written off and have to be fully replaced.
Of course prevention is better than cure, and Stanair sells and installs a wide range of security posts designed to deter ram raiders.
Telescopic security posts are easily padlocked into place and can be lowered when not used. Stealth posts pose no obstruction when down and can be clocked into either position.
