Will Smith, the depot manager at Stanair Peterborough has cycled from London to Paris – a stunning 280 mile trip that will take four days to complete.
And he must be a glutton for punishment… this is the THIRD year he has done the charity ride.
He cycled with a team of three other people from Peterborough, in aid of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
The ride is considered to be one of the toughest charity events to do. It’s been running for 14 years, and the British Legion offers the same kind of support given to riders in the Tour de France.
Will and his colleagues finished the ride at the Arc de Triomphe under full French police escort!
You can support Will with an online donation. Visit this fundraising page to make a secure payment online.
