The formation of Stanair Industrial Doors Services coincided with a very important event... the introduction of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
You probably already know that the Act states that as an employer you are responsible for securing the health, safety and welfare of your employees.
Well it also places a burden on a company such as Stanair. It has a responsibility for customers who are in contact with its working environment.
And that’s why over the last 35 years Stanair has gone to great lengths to ensure that their professional products and services are of the highest standard, leading to an exemplary health and safety record.
The company complies with, and often exceeds the requirements of all applicable health and safety laws.
Stanair provides extensive training to all of its employees and engineers so that the greatest of caution is taken in the installation and maintenance of Stanair products.
In fact employee safety and skill development is so important that considerable time is spent by each manager training staff and sending them on relevant courses.
With the latest amendments to the Health and Safety Act 1974 (Offences Act 2008), Stanair has reinstated its insistence on providing assurance to employee and customer health, safety and welfare, and will continue to do so.
