Stanair-sponsored team has first win of the season

A Peterborough sports team sponsored by Stanair Industrial Doors has had its first away win of the season.

The Peterborough Panthers speedway team spectacularly beat Belle Vue, after going into the second half of the meeting eight points behind.

It means that the team, which is celebrating its 40th season, is now third in the table.

Stanair first got involved with the Panthers in 2005.

Earlier this year Stanair and sister company Shire Security confirmed they would continue as main sponsors throughout 2009.

It’s part of the company’s significant commitment to local sports and community projects.
