A well known coach company has adapted its building to take double decker buses, with help from Stanair.
Staff from Stanair’s Peterborough depot fitted two new sectional overhead doors for Whippet Coaches in Swavesey, Cambridgeshire.
The new doors will allow double decker buses into the building, improving operations for the firm.
This is an exciting year for Whippet Coaches, as it is celebrating 90 years in business. In 1919 Henry Lee, a bicycle salesman from London, moved to Graveley in Huntingdonshire, bought an American ambulance and turned it into the first Whippet coach.
