Stanair puts the doors on Grendon Sapphires FC’s new facilities
Stanair has installed the doors on brand new changing facilities for a grassroots football club.
Grendon Sapphires FC, on the edge of Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes, has been waiting years for the facilities to be built.
Now thanks to funding from Northamptonshire County Council, Sita Trust, Biffaward, the Football Foundation, plus cash raised by supporters, work is underway.
The club will be officially opening the facilities during its Celebration Festival on Sunday 17th May 2009.
The new facilities are being built by Thorpe Paving and consist of permanent toilets and changing rooms. The doors have been fitted by Stanair's Kettering depot.
Grendon Sapphires FC is run entirely by members on a voluntary basis and is always looking for new members, trainers and managers.
