Stanair is firmly committed to the community
Stanair has been in business since 1974 – and since then has supported huge amounts of community activity in its four areas of Northamptonshire, Peterborough, Milton Keynes and Rugby.
Each of the depot managers has a budget for local sponsorships and supporting important causes, and they are encouraged to spend it in the way their staff recommend.
There’s no better way for a local business to know where it can make a real difference in the community.
Recently the Peterborough depot has signed a third year as the elite sponsor of the Peterborough Panthers speedway team.
And the Kettering depot has become a Friend of Northamptonshire Community Foundation, by committing to support this important charity for at least the next 12 months.
Other things the company and staff have done in the community recently include:
- Entering a junior team in the Cransley Hospice road race
- Sponsoring a junior rugby team in Milton Keynes, and another in Corby
- Sponsoring the coach/trainer of the year award at the Peterborough Evening Telegraph Sports Awards. Stanair also sponsored the Northamptonshire sports awards
