Stanair picks team of the year in Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards
Stanair Industrial Doors has chosen the winner of the Team of the Year prize at the 2009 Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards.
Judges from Stanair visited all the finalists in the award, and chose Eurocontinental Logistics as the ultimate winner.
Its team demonstrated to the judges how they had improved their operational procedures with three significant changes
The introduction of the “Quotation Log”, “Shipment Board”, and their commitment to a “30 minute response” to quotations has not only increased customer service levels, but has enhanced the efficiency of the team, each being able to cover other roles in times during holidays and sickness.
Stanair’s judges awarded second place to Starting Off.
It showed the judges the sustainability of a team, whose enthusiasm and dedication is key to delivering a new product to the market place.
Stanair sponsored the award and judged the finalists at the event, which took place at the Barceló Hotel in Daventry, Northants last week.
The host for the evening was comedian Jason Manford, famous for appearing on TV shows 8 out of 10 Cats and Walk on the Wild Side.
Stanair has been involved with the awards for many years, winning many awards a few years ago, and becoming judges and sponsors in recent years.
