Stanair Kettering ride for Friends of Cynthia Hospice

Two Stanair teams from the Kettering depot have donned their helmets and lycras in support of the Friends of Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

The Cycle for Cynthia bike ride was held on Sunday 27 September in Northampton. Following either the 5 mile or 25 mile route, Stanair’s teams helped contribute to a large amount of money raised at the event.

Team 1 consisted of Michael Markham, Neil Markham, Chris Dean and Martin Wall, and they completed the gruelling 25 mile course.

The round trip, which began and finished at the Northampton Saints Franklin’s Gardens rugby ground, followed a circuit through Duston, Whilton, Bugbrooke and Rothersthorpe.

Team 2 featured Chelsea Mears, Josh Wall, Gabrielle Wall, Rico De Rosa (Lorraine’s son), Lorraine De Rosa, Sarah Wall, Simon Barnicote, and Sally Clements. They enjoyed the shorter, but nevertheless testing 5 mile route around the Saints stadium.

Stanair is very proud of all those who took part and would like to congratulate the teams on their success.
