Stanair is continuing its heavy involvement in its local communities by becoming a Friend of Northamptonshire Community Foundation.
It means the industrial door services business has committed to supporting this important organisation for the next 12 months and possibly longer.
Stanair made a donation of £2,000 to the foundation. As part of the Grassroots Grants Endowment Challenge it is matched funding, meaning the foundation will benefit from a total of £4,000 of support.
That money will be invested to provide the foundation with future funds. It supports community groups across the county, including a cycling club for autistic children, village film society, a community centre cookery class, folk festival youth committee and a centre for young people.
Stanair’s sales and marketing director Martin Wall attended the foundation’s recent annual awards night, and was inducted as a new Friend (pictured third from right).
David Laing, Chairman of the Northamptonshire Community Foundation, said: “It is thanks to the generous support of our Friends and donors that we are able to fund so many projects and make such a tremendous difference to the lives of people in Northamptonshire.”
