Managing Director
Stanair Industrial Doors Ltd
BEING involved at the heart of the decision making process of an industry puts a business at the forefront of development of both technology and standards. Stanair Industrial Door Services has been a member of the regulatory body the Door Hardware Federation (DHF) for around 15 years, with Stanair Managing Director Michael Markham taking an active role as chairman of the Repair and Service group within the organisation.
As one of the leading suppliers of security doors in the region, with offices in Northampton, Peterborough, Milton Keynes and Rugby, Stanair gives its customers a guarantee that it will have a door secure and operable on the first engineering visit, or the company will not charge for the work. In addition, the company strives to have an engineer on site within two hours of an emergency call-out but often sooner. The company's product range includes industrial doors and shutters of all types, through to acoustic folding partitions, complete range of physical security products, which include security shutters, collapsible gates, barring systems and access control systems.
"Being members of the DHF means that we meet high standards of workmanship and service and keep up to date with the industry's codes of practice," said Stanair's Martin Wall. "We think membership is good value for money because it is means that our customers can trust us to do a good job and, like any other trade association, gives them a body to turn to if the work that is carried out is not to their satisfaction.
"In addition, our Managing Director has been heavily involved within the DHF because the company believes in staying at the forefront of new developments within the business that affect the whole of the industry."
