| The champagne has been flowing at Kettering based STANAIR INDUSTRIAL DOOR SERVICES LTD after it won a major national award.
The company, based on the Telford Way Industrial Estate, won a National Training Award in recognition of its top quality staff training schemes. And to win, Stanair had to beat off fierce competition from rivals throughout Britain.

Indeed, so highly recognised is the company's technical training for its engineers, it is now setting the standards nationwide - Stanair staff have been commissioned to help write a programme to be used as one of the major guides throughout their industry.
"We're all thrilled to bits, this is fantastic news and I'm so proud," said managing director Michael Markham. "What this means is that from over a thousand entries from around the country, we're the best - and it doesn't get better than that.
"We've been through a rigorous selection process to win this award, and it's a wonderful accolade to everybody at Stanair that we've had this fabulous success," said Mr Markham.
The National Training Awards is Government sponsored and organised by the Department of Education & Skills. It attracts entries from individuals, partnerships, charities and major corporations, reflecting the dynamic range and scope of training that is taking place across the whole country.
Stanair impressed judges with the implementation of a new all-inclusive training structure to help all their members of staff. They were sent on relevant training courses to boost their skills and help their career development.
Meanwhile, new recruits to the company - that currently employs over 60 people - underwent intensive and highly impressive training appropriate to their new jobs.
"This goes to prove how much Stanair cares about its employees," said Sarah Wall, who put the winning bid together on behalf of the company. "Across the board training has resulted in greater confidence amongst staff, with more people being able to attend to work outside their direct sphere.
"As a result, morale has increased and there's a fantastic atmosphere - there's plenty of ideas sharing and a great feeling of team spirit."
And there could be more celebrations at Stanair - the company now go forward to the "UK Ceremony", at London's Guildhall on December 3, when special awards will be given to companies who have demonstrated "exceptional achievements" in the field of training.
