| Powerful Master Blaster! |
Howard Shelley wanted to make life as ifficult as possible for any intruder who attempted to enter the Women Builders site! A few master blasters should do the trick!
Situation:
In June of 2005 Women Builders contacted Stanair Industrial Door Services to install a Roller Shutter Door and repair their back gate, at the time they also showed an interest in Intruder Alarms from Stanair’s sister company Shire Security Ltd. This was quoted for but didn’t result in anything until April 2006. Women Builders were waiting for authority from Milton Keynes College, who currently share the building, so that the cost was shared. The building was unprotected!
The area has been suffering from a high crime rate since Women Builders was broken into with more and more businesses in the area becoming victims of burglars. The intruders entered through the back unused fire door, breaking through locked doors throughout the building eventually making it into the main office where the high value items were. All this happened totally undisturbed, allowing the intruders to get away with £4000 worth of tools and computer equipment.
Solution:
The next morning Howard Shelley contacted Shire Security to explain the situation and to request an emergency quote. Shire Security attended the site after the call and sent out the quote the same day. Howard wanted the design of the alarm system to make the building as uncomfortable as possible for any intruders, Shire Security recommended Master Blasters. When activated these Master Blasters are extremely loud making it unbearable to stay in the building for a long period of time. Along with the Master Blasters is the standard elements that allow an Intruder Alarm system to work, the bell box, key pad and sensors.
This alarm has already deterred thieves from the Women Builders office as they have had an activation on a night when two other buildings in the area have been targeted.
Howard decided to use Shire Security above any competitor due to customer service received from Stanair. Howard wanted to receive a similar service and knew the two were sister companies.
Howard was particularly pleased with the engineer who completed the job:
‘He was very helpful and got the job done despite initial problems, he got the site secure on the first day and returned after the weekend to connect up the communicator.’
