Weetabix are well established in the community at Burton Latimer, through their success the site at Burton Latimer has been extended so that demand can be met, having recently grown from over 75 acres to approximately 110 acres. Once this expansion is completed the site will reach right to the A14 becoming a land mark in its own right.
Problem
Weetabix have in excess of 200 doors on site on the Burton Latimer and the Corby sites these doors are in constant use and are key to delivering to the Weetabix customer. These doors consist of 42 Fire Doors at Burton Latimer, and 14 at the two Corby sites, 52 Roller Shutter Doors at Burton Latimer and 16 at the Corby sites, 30 Rapid Action Doors at Burton Latimer and 17 at Corby, 27 Lift Doors at Burton Latimer and 11 at Corby. Weetabix needed a door supplier and maintenance provider to rely on if any of these doors needed replacing or repairing quickly. They also needed the supplier to offer a flawless emergency service 24 hours a day. The entire running of this site requires the doors to be in full working order not only to allow the deliveries to be made on time but also for health and safety and hygiene reasons.
Solution
Stanair have now been working with Weetabix for over 30 years, offering a standard 24-hour emergency call-out service, personally manned 365 days a year. Stanair respond to customer's requests in the event of an emergency by having an engineer on site normally within 2 hours.
This service is unbeaten and one of the reasons we still work for Weetabix today. At Weetabix we service all the doors regularly several times throughout the year, repair or replace doors when they have been hit or simply when they have broken down. Stanair provide Weetabix with the ultimate emergency service.
Weetabix require the Stanair services approximately 6 times each week due to the high level of usage and the volume of vehicles travelling through the site and each door opening.
