Accuma have been using Stanair's services for over 25 years now and they have never considered using anyone else. Accuma has had over 40 years of experience in making injection moulding of plastic containers, lids, vent-plugs and accessories, as well as in production of a wide range of cold forged lead bushings for electric accumulators.

Established in 1978, the company purchased a factory in the newly created Industrial Enterprise Zone in Corby, Northamptonshire in England .

In 1984 a second company was established in Corby , with a purpose built warehouse. The goal was to give the UK market immediate access to the range of products produced by all the ACCUMA companies.

In 1988 these two companies were successfully merged.

Today the company employs over 60 people. The total production equipment range is composed of 29 oil pressure moulding machines with closing power from 140 to 850 tons. All these machines were purchased from manufacturers in Italy and over many years have been tried and tested within our group of companies. Our two factories in England have a total area of nearly 20,000 Square metres.

During 1993 the company successfully applied for and was awarded the Quality Assurance standard ISO 9001, and nowadays is working towards QS 9000 specification. With over 20 years of moulding experience, the company uses a wide range of raw materials.
The continued investment in new injection machines, new moulds and the latest technology give the present factories the capacity to produce 4.5 million automotive sets, 1 million traction containers and over 1.5 million industrial sets.

Nowadays, the Accuma Group has production plants in Italy , Great Britain and United States of America , which supply more than 600 battery manufacturers all over the five continents, satisfying every need.

The Accuma Group has 146 injection moulding machines, fitted with state-of-the-art robotics and equipped with sophisticated process control systems, which allow the production of items whose weight ranges from 5 gr. to 30 kg.

The whole Group plants over a total area of 280.000 square metres while the number of employees reaches 450.

The production capacity of the Accuma Group consists of over thirty million automotive sets, four million traction sets and over four million stationary and gas recombination sets.
